To search for and reconnect descendants of all Melungeon families including those that migrated to the Midwest region of the US during the Great Appalachian Migration along the "Hillbilly Highway."

To rebuild a community of  living descendants of all Melungeons, and a local community for descendants whose ancestors migrated along the "Hillbilly Highway" from Southern Appalachia to the Midwest United States.

To document and preserve Melungeon culture and oral histories and traditions of the Melungeon families residing in and outside the Midwest United States, primarily focused on communities in the Great Lakes Region.
